It was just the two of them, a small circle of family, and golden evening light. That light made every photo feel like it was lit on purpose.

Surrounded by rock pools and soft evening sun, Halley and Jay exchanged vows. Only their closest family stood beside them. There’s something different about a ceremony this small. Every glance and every word feels louder, closer, more theirs.
Portraits
What struck me most about this session was how relaxed Halley and Jay were with each other. They laughed between takes, stole glances, and stayed completely unfazed by the camera. Meanwhile, Glenelg’s beach and rocky shoreline gave us a beautiful, varied backdrop. It ranged from bright open sky to warm, textured rock walls.
Golden Hour
As the sun dropped low over the water, the whole beach turned gold. This is where some of my favourite images of the day happened. There was a quiet embrace with the sun flaring right between them. Then came a kiss silhouetted against the last light of the day. It’s the kind of light you can’t plan for — you can only hope for it.
Just Married
No wedding is complete without a little celebration. Halley and Jay’s family made sure of that — banners, cheers, and a walk down the beach as newlyweds.
